Requirements of the Dental Assistant
- Dental Assisting Degree or Certification, with an Active X-Ray license.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience
- Will take Registered or Non-Registered Dental Assistant

Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant
- Work chair side as dentists examine and treat patients.
- Make patient comfortable as possible in the dental chair, and prepare them for treatment.
- Obtain dental records.
- Hand dental instruments and other materials to the dentist.
- Keep patients' mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devices.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures, and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
- Take and process dental x-rays.
- Work in EDR system
