Job Description

Crown Staffing is hiring Machine Operators in Shelbyville, KY. This position is on 1st and 2nd shift. Pay ranges from $20 to $22 an hour (DOE)

-The Lead Operator position is an hourly position and reports to the supervisor. The employee is responsible for ensuring that the machine production process runs as efficiently and as smoothly as possible in a safe manner.

Job Requirements

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

-Bag, stage, and label rolls

-Executes/performs quality test (width, length, thickness, tensile, bond, weight, ILD) and input into the computer

-Able to set up quality test equipment for the appropriate job (including change out of tester heads, Boards)

-Complete proper paperwork

-Capable of setting the machine up and making machine adjustments

-Able to input and adjust setting at the laminator control panel

-Capable of maintaining appropriate amount of fiber on bale openers

-Maintaining accurate bale weights and proper documentation

-Able to clean oven pans & belts

-Pack boxes/totes with correct quantity according to JCP

-Inspect material for any quality defects

-Capable of pulling parts and stacking on conveyor

-Capable of collecting the correct label and filling out property

-Run Bruno line & lead crew

-Make boxes

-Setting up/monitoring AVM control panel and oven

-Able to establish settings for new process / job

-Able to lead completion of sample requests

-Capable of starting oven, air compressor, lights

-Understands the schedule to be able to recommend suggestions and flex accordingly.

-Changes out dies

-Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions

-Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions) -Must have the ability to read a ruler (inches and millimeters)

-Able to operate the grinder Material Handler Position

-Able to make scrap bales using the baler

-Minor maintenance on the lines (clear all lock ups, clean sprockets/chains, etc.)

-Troubleshooting quality and production problems on the lines
